• Color consultations and finish recommendations

• Pressure washing and surface cleaning

• Related home improvement or renovation services

All services are provided based on estimates and agreed-upon contracts.

 

2. User Eligibility:
By using our website or services, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age

• You have the legal authority to enter into a service agreement

• All information you provide is accurate and complete

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service to anyone at our discretion.

 

3. Estimates, Payment & Billing:

• All projects begin with a written or verbal estimate, followed by a formal quote or invoice.

• A deposit may be required to reserve a project start date.

• Final payment is due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Late or missed payments may result in additional fees or suspension of ongoing work.

We accept payments via e-transfer, cheque, credit card.

 

4. Communication Consent (SMS & Email):
By submitting your contact information, you agree to receive communications from us, which may include:

• Appointment reminders or confirmations

• Project updates or change requests

• Promotions, seasonal offers, or service announcements

• Requests for feedback or testimonials

5. Job Site Access & Client Responsibilities:
You agree to:

• Provide safe and clear access to the job site during working hours

• Remove fragile or valuable items from the work area

• Ensure all pets and children are kept away from the workspace

• Approve color selections, surfaces, and details prior to work beginning

Delays caused by lack of access or approvals may affect your project timeline.

 

6. Materials & Warranty:

• All materials used will be specified and agreed upon before work begins.

• We typically use premium paints and primers from trusted brands.

• Our work may come with a limited warranty (e.g., 1-3 years) depending on the service provided.

• Warranty excludes damage caused by weather, misuse, water leaks, or structural issues.

Please refer to your written estimate or invoice for specific warranty terms.

 

7. Project Timeline & Revisions:

• Estimated start and completion dates are provided as guidelines and may vary due to weather, supply availability, or project complexity.

• Minor touch-ups or revisions are included within reason; excessive changes may result in additional charges.

All change orders must be documented and approved in writing.

 

8. Liability & Insurance:
Mr. Star Painting carries general liability insurance for all work performed. However, we are not liable for:

• Pre-existing damage or conditions

• Personal property not removed from the work area

• Delays caused by third-party contractors or external factors (e.g., weather)

Total liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.

 

9. Cancellations & Refunds:
Clients may cancel scheduled work with written notice. Refunds for deposits will be handled as follows:

• 7+ days notice: Full refund

• Less than 7 days: Partial refund (based on prep work or materials purchased)

• Once work has begun: No refunds issued

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to unsafe conditions or uncooperative environments.

 

10. Privacy:
We respect your privacy. Any information you provide will be used solely for the purpose of delivering our services and will not be sold or shared without your consent. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.

 

11. Governing Law:
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in that state.
